DC Metro Widget ("the App") is developed by Mauricio Orellana. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The App does not have user accounts, analytics, or tracking of any kind.
The App uses your device's location solely to identify the nearest Metro station or bus stop. Location data is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers or any third party. You can revoke location access at any time in your device's Settings.
The App retrieves real-time transit data from the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) public API. These requests contain no personally identifiable information. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details.
Your preferences, favorite stations, and widget settings are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data is not accessible to us and is not transmitted off your device.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
